Функційний потенціал мови у реченнях із імперативною семантикою допомагає визначати форми наміру та спонукання, які реалізують волю мовця та водночас створюють ефект навіювання. Імперативні конструкції підтримують цей шлейф за допомогою форм 3-ої ос. одн./мн., які збагачені емоційно-експресивною тональністю поведінки мовця для того, щоб мати змогу вмотивувати отримувача прескрипції виконати необхідну дію. Вони транслюють різні відтінки стонукального значення, від категоричного до пом’якшеного чи нейтрального. The paper is devoted to the means of implementing suggestion in imperative statements. The functional potential of language in sentences with imperative semantics helps to determine the forms of intention and inducement that that implement the speaker's will and at the same time create the effect of suggestion. Imperative constructions support this by means of the 3rd person singular/plural forms, which are enriched with the emotional and expressive tone of the speaker's behaviour in order to motivate the recipient of the prescription to perform the required action. It is important in this vector is the consideration of various aspects of the use of imperatives in speech, in particular, their semantics, grammatical structure and contextual meaning of its functional and grammatical means of realising suggestion in statements. Their study will allow us to better understand the mechanisms of language influence on human perception and behaviour and behaviour, as well as reveal important aspects of the communication process. The author emphasises the diverse manifestations of the concepts of ‘inducement’ and ‘imperative’, provides a commentary on the functioning of these two definitions, and outlines different views.
