Application of wrestling strength and speed exercises during the physical education of military students

Problem statement. Physical training in educational institutions with enhanced military and physical focus is a purposeful controlled process of physical improvement of future servicemen, which is carried out taking into account the peculiarities of their military and professional activities. To do this, it is necessary to analyze the state of development of students’ physical skills and, on this basis, to develop recommendations for improving the process of physical education. Those points determined the relevance of our study. Purpose. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the use of wrestling strength and speed exercises during physical education of military students at the lyceum with enhanced military and physical training. Methods. There were used methods of theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific literature, pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics. Results. The results of pedagogical experiment indicated that experimental program of physical training was more effective than the traditional one. In experimental group the average increase of functional test results at the end of experiment was 10.7%, in control group – 6.1%. Most of the changes were significant in both groups (p≤0.05–0.001). The average increase in physical fitness in experimental group was 31.6%, while in control group it was 24.7%. The results of the most tests were also reliable in both groups (p≤0.05–0.001). The indexes of preparedness (speed, speed and strength, strength, endurance index) at the end of experiment also had a higher average growth in experimental group (3.5%) in comparison with control group (1.7%). The obtained results were confirmed statistically in both groups (p≤0.05–0.001). Conclusions. The results of experiment illustrated that the use of wrestling strength and speed exercises in the physical education of students at the Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training was more effective and provided positive changes in physical qualities.
Comparison of Dialect Text Architectonics in Ukrainian and English Comparación de la arquitectura del texto dialectal en ucraniano e inglés

The aim of the article was to study the peculiarities of the dialect text architectonics in English and Ukrainian and compare their peculiarities for good understanding of a foreign language. Methodologically, comparative analysis, correlation method and context analysis were used; plus quantitative distribution of variants of the variables. The forms of the verb to be in the Future Tense in English and Ukrainian are considered as markers of verb tenses for parametric study. It is obvious that the Future Tense in Ukrainian should be considered primary in terms of origin. For active verbs, the number of examples outside the combinations with the personal pronoun is relatively small, then for full verb forms will be the number of such examples is much more significant. In conclusion, the topic of dialectal differences between languages, behaviour, traditions, and mentality is becoming increasingly relevant in today’s world, which seeks to resist globalization. Now the dialect that distinguishes people from each other has begun to be valued. Further research should address the phonetic and lexical aspects of dialectal speech, because comprehensive coverage of phonetic and lexical features of language dialects will allow future specialists to acquire communicative competencies. El objetivo del artículo fue estudiar las peculiaridades de la arquitectura del texto dialectal en inglés y ucraniano, a fin de comparar sus peculiaridades para una buena comprensión de un idioma extranjero. Como método se utilize el análisis comparative, método de correlación y análisis de contexto; asi como la distribución cuantitativa de variantes de las variables. Las formas del verbo to be en tiempo futuro en inglés y ucraniano se consideran marcadores de tiempos verbales para el estudio paramétrico. Es obvio que el tiempo futuro en ucraniano debe considerarse primario en términos de origen. Para los verbos activos, el número de ejemplos fuera de las combinaciones con el pronombre personal es relativamente pequeño, entonces para las formas verbales completas será el número de tales ejemplos es mucho más significativo. En conclusion, el tema de las diferencias dialectales entre lenguas, comportamientos, tradiciones y mentalidad cobra cada vez más relevancia en el mundo actual, que busca resistir la globalización. La investigación futura debería abordar los aspectos fonéticos y léxicos del habla dialectal, pues la cobertura integral de las características fonéticas y léxicas de los dialectos del idioma permitirá a los futuros especialistas adquirir competencias comunicativas.

Development of law enforcers’ communication skills in тhe USA. Розвиток комунікативних навичок правоохоронців у США

Based on the study of the experience of training law enforcement officers in the United States, there has been stressed in the article on the need to improve the police training considering development of communicative and interpersonal skills. These skills as well as creative thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills are among the most needed for the professional efficiency of every law enforcement officer. The author considers that a new law enforcement agency serving the social needs and protecting the rights of citizens requires modern approaches to the police training. So, as the community-oriented policing is an important aspect of law enforcement work, police training academies should train their officers to interact effectively with public. Coming from the USA research outcomes, the core interpersonal competencies for law enforcement officers are identified as following: ability to use good judgment and to problem solve; capacity for empathy and compassion; capacity for multi-tasking; ability to demonstrate courage and to take responsibility; ability to be resourceful and show initiative; demonstrating assertiveness; possess and demonstrate integrity; capacity for engaging in teamwork and ability to collaborate. The contemporary methodologies like problem-based learning, communications-based instructions, and practical scenario training providing development of law enforcers’ communicative and interpersonal skills are analyzed in the article. Within training programs these methods integrate many of the educational results such as: thinking critically with the ability to analyze complex problems; locate, assess, and utilize significant educational resources; display outstanding skills related to written and oral communications; and develop into life-long learners by using their intellectual and content knowledge. The author says that the experience of the USA police training according to the mentioned sphere can be crucially useful for the police reform process in Ukraine. Стаття присвячена вивченню досвіду професійної підготовки працівників правоохоронних органів в США, зокрема щодо розвитку їх комунікативних навичок і навичок міжособистісного спілкування. Ці навички разом з формуванням творчого мислення, навичками вирішення проблем і прийняття рішень вважаються одними з найбільш необхідних для професійної ефективності кожного співробітника правоохоронних органів. Автор вважає, що реформування правоохоронних органів, які служать захисту суспільних потреб та прав громадян, вимагає сучасних підходів до навчання поліції. Отже, оскільки громадсько-орієнтована діяльність поліції є важливим аспектом роботи правоохоронних органів, навчальні поліцейські академії повинні навчати правоохоронців навичкам ефективної взаємодії з громадськістю. Виходячи з результатів досліджень США, основні компетенції міжособистісного спілкування правоохоронців визначаються як: здатність приймати розумні рішення та вирішувати проблеми; здатність до емпатії та співчуття; здатність до багатозадачної діяльності; вміння виявляти сміливість і брати на себе відповідальність; вміння проявляти винахідливість та ініціативу; чесність; здатність долучатися до командної роботи і співпрацювати тощо. У статті проаналізовано сучасні методи навчання (проблемне, комунікативне, навчання на основі практичних сценаріїв та ін.), використання яких сприятиме розвитку комунікативних та навичок міжособистісного спілкування правоохоронців. В межах навчальних програм ці методи інтегрують численні освітні результати, такі як: критичне мислення зі здатністю аналізувати складні проблеми; визначати, оцінювати та використовувати значущі освітні ресурси; проявляти навички, пов’язані з письмовою та усною комунікацією; вміння розвиватися протягом усього життя, використовуючи інтелектуальні та змістові знання. Автор зазначає, що досвід підготовки поліцейських у США щодо комунікативних навичок і компетенцій міжособистісного спілкування може бути корисним для процесу реформування правоохоронних органів в Україні.
Development of soft skills in the system of adult education. Розвиток «гнучких» навичок у системі освіти дорослих

The article deals with soft skills that nowadays are centrally important for human capital development and workforce success and the demand for which has significantly increased over last years. The definition of soft skills as a broad set of skills, competencies, behaviors, attitudes, and personal qualities that enable people to effectively navigate their environment, work well with others, perform well, and achieve their goals with complementing hard skills is presented. The author analyzes the diverse investigators’ classifications of structure and components of soft skills. There have been distinguished some constituents of soft skills such as social skills; communication; and higher-order thinking skills (including problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making); supported by the intrapersonal skills of self-control and positive self-concept. As preparing students with technical or academic skills alone will not be enough for them to achieve success and well-being, education systems need to prepare students for their future career and life challenges by means of improving their soft skills. The effectiveness of soft skills acquiring is found to largely depend on the quality of the intervention programme. У статті розглядаються «гнучкі» навички, які мають важливе значення для розвитку людського капіталу та успішності робочої сили, і потреба у яких значно збільшилася за останні роки. У статті «гнучкі» навички визначаються як широкий набір навичок, компетенцій, поведінки, ставлення та особистих якостей, що дають змогу дорослим ефективно існувати у навколишньому середовищі, працювати разом з іншими та досягти своїх цілей, і доповнюють академічні і професійні навички. Автор аналізує класифікації «гнучких» навичок різних авторів. Виділено компоненти «гнучких» навичок, такі як: соціальні навички; навички спілкування і мислення (вирішення проблем, критичне мислення та прийняття рішень); а також навички самоконтролю та позитивної самооцінки. Оскільки навчання молоді і дорослих лише професійним чи академічним навичкам є недостатнім для досягнення успіху та добробуту в житті і кар’єрі, система освіти має готувати студентів до майбутніх кар'єрних та життєвих викликів шляхом покращення їх «гнучких» навичок. Зазначається, що ефективність набуття «гнучких» навичок залежить від якості навчальних програм.
Factors of illegal behavior influencing globalisation . Глобалізаційні фактори протиправної поведінки

Метою статті є визначення факторів протиправної поведінки, що виникають завдяки глобалізації. Обґрунтовується думка, що ці фактори безпосередньо пов’язані із суперечностями суспільного розвитку, з ідеологічним протистоянням та економічною, політичною, соціальною нерівністю країн світу, а значить і різним ступенем їх участі у глобалізаційних процесах. У глобалізованому світі наявні у суспільстві уявлення про свободу, справедливість, законні інтереси, природне право трансформуються, що позначається на правовій свідомості і правовій поведінці. Увага авторів статті акцентується на протиправній поведінці, що складає суттєву загрозу кожній людині і суспільству. Глобалізація злочинності розглядається як основний криміногенний наслідок глобалізації. Стверджується, що кримінальні загрози не можуть розглядатися поза контекстом глобалізаційних і гуманітарних процесів, що для нейтралізації глобалізаційних факторів протиправної поведінки необхідним є проведення соціальної політики, спрямованої на викорінення причин правопорушень.

Global trends of adult education in the UNESCO’S documents. Світові тенденції розвитку освіти дорослих в документах ЮНЕСКО

The article is devoted to the problem of global trends and directions of development in adult learning and education that are considered in UNESCO’s documents. It is noted that UNESCO, as a specialized agency of the United Nations, promotes international cooperation in education, science and culture, its priorities include the achievement of quality education for all and lifelong learning, as well as the creation of an inclusive knowledge-based society through information and communication. The author summarizes that UNESCO as a world international organization has a crucial significance in promoting and developing adult learning and education through adopting a number of documents, concepts and reports that define mainstream trends and development directions. The latest may be referred to the following: replacement the concept of Development of Adult Education with the Adult Learning and Education, widening by this way sphere of its implementation; defining three core learning domains in the field of ALE as: literacy and basic skills; continuing education and professional development; liberal and community education (active citizenship skills); confirming the paradigm of traditional distinction between three basic categories of learning activity: formal, non-formal and informal learning; noting, however, that there should be a distinction between purposeful informal learning and random informal learning. It is noted in the article that the efforts of numerous UNESCO organizations are focused on specific areas that need improvement, such as: giving everyone a fair chance at education so that everyone has equal access to adult education; a significant increase in participation in adult learning and education in order to achieve equal progress in adult education and learning in different countries, etc. Стаття присвячена аналізу світових тенденцій та напрямів розвитку навчання та освіти дорослих, які розглянуті в документах ЮНЕСКО. Зазначається, що ЮНЕСКО, як спеціалізована установа ООН, сприяє міжнародному співробітництву в освіті, науці та культурі, його пріоритети включають досягнення якісної освіти для всіх та навчання протягом усього життя, а також створення інклюзивного суспільства знань на основі інформації та комунікації. Навчання та освіта дорослих, згідно документів ЮНЕСКО, має вирішальну роль у досягненні Цілей розвитку тисячоліття, вирішенні складних викликів, що стоять перед освітою, з огляду на зростання нерівності, демографічні та кліматичні зміни, які відбуваються в світі. Навчання та освіта дорослих збільшують соціальну згуртованість, інтеграцію та залученість, підвищують соціальний капітал та покращують участь громадян у соціальній та громадській діяльності. Автор зазначає, що ЮНЕСКО як світова міжнародна організація має вирішальне значення у просуванні та розвитку навчання та освіти дорослих шляхом прийняття низки документів, концепцій та звітів, що визначають основні тенденції та напрями її розвитку. До останніх відноситься: заміна концепції розвитку освіти дорослих концепцією навчання та освіти дорослих з метою розширення сфери її впровадження; визначення трьох основних напрямів навчання в галузі освіти і навчання дорослих таких як: грамотність та базові навички; неперервна освіта та професійний розвиток (професійні навички); ліберальна, популярна та громадська освіта (навички активного громадянства); підтвердження парадигми традиційного розмежування трьох основних категорій навчальної діяльності: формального, неформального та неформального навчання, зазначаючи, при тому, що слід розрізняти цілеспрямоване інформальне навчання та випадкове інформальне навчання. Зазначається, що зусилля численних організацій ЮНЕСКО спрямовані на певні напрямки, які потребують вдосконалення, такі як: надання кожному справедливого шансу на освіту, щоб кожен мав однакову можливість доступу та отримання освіти для дорослих; значне збільшення участі у навчанні та освіті для дорослих з тим, щоб досягти рівномірного прогресу в участі в освіті і навчанні дорослих в різних країнах тощо.
Human freedom in the legal dimension. Свобода людини в правовому вимірі

In this article, the authors examine the freedom of a person as a subject of law, comparing it with the freedom of an individual, which is regulated by moral imperatives. They analyze the various components of the personality structure – volitional, rational and valuable. The relationship between the concepts of “freedom” and “right” is highlighted, the connection between legal responsibility and freedom is traced. The role of individual legal awareness in ensuring human freedom is determined. The relevance of the article is determined by the need to justify ways of ensuring freedom in the state, creating mechanisms for overcoming contradictions between freedom and necessity, freedom and equality. For this, it is necessary to examine freedom from the point of view of law. The purpose of the study is to clarify the status of freedom as a legal category, to specify its essence, place and meaning in legal science, to characterize the current trends in the development of this phenomenon. The methodological basis of the article consists of dialectical, phenomenological and synergistic approaches, as well as the following methods: formal-dogmatic, comparison, formal-logical, formal-legal, systemic and structural- functional. The authors of the article reached the following conclusions: individual freedom differs from human freedom, which is impossible without law, without a legislative form of its implementation. From the point of view of law, freedom is the possibility of certain human behavior legally enshrined in normative acts. The law is an effective tool that helps the individual (community, society in general) achieve a state of true freedom. Human freedom can only be realized through legal equality. Unlimited freedom turns into arbitrariness and leads to totalitarianism. Freedom presupposes the responsibility of a person for his actions. There is a close connection between freedom, law, equality, justice, legal consciousness and legal responsibility. The scientific novelty of the article is determined by the conclusions, which consist in the development of a holistic view of the place and role of human freedom in the system of legal categories and the role of law in ensuring it. Досліджується свобода людини як суб’єкта права, вона порівнюється зі свободою особистості, що регулюється моральними імперативами. Висвітлено співвідношення понять «свобода» та «право», простежено зв’язок юридичної відповідальності та свободи. Визначено роль індивідуальної правосвідомості в забезпеченні свободи людини. Наукова новизна статті визначається висновками, що полягають у розроблені цілісного уявлення про місце та роль свободи людини в системі правових категорій і ролі права в її забезпеченні.
Illegal Behaviour in the Modern World: Causes and Consequences. . Протиправна поведінка у сучасному світі: причини та наслідки

The criminalisation of public relations, which is noticeable in many countries of the modern world, is acutely felt in Ukraine as well. Usually a citizen is defenceless against crime, and criminals are not always punished. This situation forces modern science to turn to understanding a number of current issues related to the causes and consequences of illegal behaviour, to identify ways to prevent it. This circumstance determines the relevance of the subject matter. The purpose of the study is to identify and characterise the causes of illegal behaviour and its consequences in the modern world, in Ukraine in particular. The scientific originality of the results allow expanding and refining knowledge about the causes of illegal behaviour. First of all, this applies to the reasons that are conditioned by the challenges and threats that are relevant in modern world. These include globalisation, artificial intelligence, the spread of viruses. Обґрунтовується думка, що протиправна поведінка є результатом складної взаємодії ряду факторів, дія яких опосередковується конкретною ситуацією, у яку особа потрап-ляє. Щоб зменшити прояви протиправної поведінки, необхідно змінити систему цінностей, морально-етичні норми, прийняті у даному соціумі. Ціннісний підхід до нейтралізації причин протиправної поведінки вимагає проведення соціальної політики, спрямованої на подолання соціальної несправедливості.
Intercultural competence: concepts, structure, principles аnd methods оf development. Міжкультурна компетентність: поняття, структура, принципи та методи розвитку

The article deals with the issues of intercultural competence: concepts, structure, principles and methods of development. It reveals the definition of the concept of intercultural communication and reviews international approaches to defining multicultural competence and its components in modern pedagogy. The intercultural communication competence is considered as the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately in various cultural contexts that has numerous components that include motivation, self- and other knowledge, and tolerance for uncertainty. It is noted that effective intercultural communication is essential to preventing and resolving conflict, building networks, and creating a satisfactory work environment for everyone involved. The aim of the article is to clarify the factors influencing the level of mastering these skills. Also there was distinguished the categories of culture needed to be taken into account while conducting intercultural communication and practicing these skills, namely: context, individualism, formality, communication style, and time orientation. The author tries to find the answer to the question how can workplace intercultural competence be improved, enabling individuals and organizations to overcome intercultural communication barriers and achieve their goals within this global virtual space. There was provided some communication tactics and tips to promote effective communication in a culturally diverse environment: to keep an open mind; to have at least some knowledge of people’s cultural backgrounds; to practice active listening; to watch your nonverbal communication; to maintain a personal touch, etc. Intercultural communication requires an understanding that different cultures have different values, beliefs, behaviors, customs, attitudes, social mores, and thought patterns, thus, good intercultural communication skills require a willingness to accept differences these and adapt to them. У статті розглядаються питання міжкультурної компетентності: поняття, структура, принципи та методи розвитку. Розкривається поняття міжкультурної комунікації та розглядаються міжнародні підходи до визначення полікультурної компетентності та її складових у сучасній педагогіці. Міжкультурна комунікативна компетентність розглядається як здатність ефективно спілкуватися в різних культурних контекстах, яка має численні компоненти, що включають мотивацію, знання про себе та інших, толерантність до незнайомого тощо. Зазначено, що ефективне міжкультурне спілкування має важливе значення для запобігання та вирішення конфліктів в організації, побудови мереж і створення задовільного робочого середовища для всіх його учасників Метою статті є з’ясування факторів, що впливають на рівень оволодіння навичками міжкультурної комунікації. Також було проаналізовано категорії культури, які слід ураховувати при здійсненні міжкультурної комунікації та формуванні цих навичок, а саме: контекст, індивідуалізм, формальність, стиль спілкування та орієнтація в часі. У статті вирішується питання, як можна покращити міжкультурну комунікативну компетентність на робочому місці, дозволяючи людям та організаціям долати міжкультурні комунікативні бар’єри та досягати своїх цілей у глобальному просторі. Пропонуються комунікативні тактики і поради щодо сприяння ефективній комунікації в культурно різноманітному середовищі: дотримуватись відкритих поглядів; мати певні знання про культуру інших людей; практикувати активне слухання; стежити за своїм невербальним спілкуванням; підтримувати особистий контакт. Міжкультурна комунікація вимагає розуміння того, що різні культури мають різні цінності, вірування, поведінку, соціальні звичаї та моделі мислення, отже, розвинуті навички міжкультурного спілкування передбачають готовність приймати ці відмінності та адаптуватися до них.
International standards for mediation. Міжнародні стандарти медіації

Актуальність статті полягає у тому, що прийняття Закону України «Про медіацію» вима-гало аналізу стандартів медіації в різних сферах сфери суспільного життя. Медіація в Україні є альтернативним способом вирішення спору. Однак його застосування є немож-ливо без вивчення зарубіжного досвіду в цій сфері. У нашій статті ми проаналізували низку іноземних документи, що визначають стандарти медіації. Зроблено висновок, що міжнародні норми, які визначають стандарти медіації, вже визнані та використовуються низкою держав-членів Європейського Союзу та вимагають більшої реалізації а національ-ному законодавстві України. The adoption of the Law of Ukraine «On Mediation» required analysis of mediation standards in various spheres of public life. Mediation in Ukraine is an alternative way to resolve dispute. However, its application is impossible without studying fore-ign experience in this area. In our article we have analyzed a number of foreign documents that define the standards of mediation. It is concluded that international regulations, which define the standards of mediation, are already recognized and used by a number of Member States of the European Union and require more implementation in Ukrainian legislation.

У статті досліджується маргінальна поведінка, її причини, визначальні риси та наслідки. Обґрунтовується думка, що маргінальна поведінка може набувати поширення навіть за умов відносної політичної стабільності. Недостатньо продумана соціальна політика держави, несправедливість у розподілі матеріальних благ, відсутність можливості реалізувати свої законні інтереси, порушення прав людини, байдужість суспільства до проблем окремо взятого індивіда, навіть доступність різноманітної інформації завдяки мережі Інтернет, – все це може негативно позначатись на правовій свідомості і правовій поведінці, призводити до зростання показників злочинності. Специфічними правовими факторами, що впливають на даний процес, є недосконале законодавство, прогалини у праві, високий рівень криміналізації суспільства. Основною детермінантою злочинності та маргіналізації суспільства є бездіяльність держави. Висновки дослідження дають можливість прогнозувати подальші напрями попередження маргіналізації суспільства та маргінальної поведінки.

The process of investigating criminal offences related to domestic violence is not limited to the investigation of only one type of crime, usually it is a certain chain of violent actions, which usually begin with psychological or economic violence and, over time, develop into more serious violent crimes manifested in physical and sexual violence. The focus is on a lack of communication and cooperation both between the National Police units and between the police and social organisations, such as guardianship and custody agencies, social service centres for families, children and young people, and social rehabilitation centres, medical-social rehabilitation centres, etc..
Religious education of inmates in correctional institutions. Релігійна освіта ув’язнених у виправних закладах

The article is devoted to the problem of religious education that may be of great importance to rehabilitate and reform the offender or prisoner. As the problem of crime is one of growing importance, every means available should be used to reform and train the prisoner so that when he leaves the penitentiary he will go out and become a useful member of society. The various reasons for inmate religious involvement are investigated, such as many psychological and emotional benefits, improving their own self-concept, use religion to help change their behavior or to gain physical protection, to meet other inmates or volunteers of the opposite sex. It is proved that inmates can acquire a number of positive characteristics from the practice of religion in prison, because serious religious involvement promotes self-discipline, self-introspection, and concern for others, psychological peace of mind, positive self-concept and improvements in self-control and intellectual abilities. According to the law of many countries, correctional institutions must provide inmates with legal rights concerning the practice of religion and attending religious services, but considering security of the institution. The programs aimed at the successful reintegration of inmates into the community need the assistance of religious personnel to find employment and promote positive family relationships. There has been considered that the prison chaplain has greater potential opportunities in helping to rehabilitate the prisoner, he has shown the most interest in criminals and has been motivated by a religious spirit or a welfare mission. The article analyzes characteristics that the modern prison chaplain must use; he should be extreme tactful, frank, honest, and truthful, careful to keep his promises, sympathetic, must know something about the social sciences and should be a man of strong and attractive personality. The chaplain’s duties and obligations are analyzed. One of the aims of a chaplain is to analyze the inmates' religious and social background, diagnose their deficiencies, and plan for their future. It is noted that whatever the changes in corrections and larger society, because of the historical and legal foundation of religion in corrections it will continue to be an active part of prison life and inmates’ rehabilitation. Стаття присвячена питанням релігійної освіти ув’язнених у виправних закладах, що має велике значення для їх реабілітації. Оскільки проблема злочинності дедалі зростає, слід використовувати всі можливі засоби для трансформації ув’язненого, щоб, виходячи з місць позбавлення волі, він став корисним членом суспільства. У статті досліджуються причини залучення до релігії ув'язнених, такі як психологічні та емоційні переваги, вдосконалення власної Я-концепції, можливість змінити свою поведінку або отримати фізичний захист з допомогою релігії, познайомитися з іншими ув'язненими або волонтерами тощо. Доведено, що ув'язнені можуть набути позитивних характеристик, долучаючись до релігійної практики у в'язниці, оскільки релігійні вірування сприяють самодисципліні, самоаналізу та турботі про інших, психологічному спокою, позитивній само-концепції, вдосконаленню самоконтролю та інтелектуальних здібностей. Наголошується що відповідно до законодавств всіх розвинених країн, виправні установи повинні забезпечувати ув'язнених законними правами щодо сповідування релігії та можливість відвідувати різні конфесійні служби, але з урахуванням правил безпеки установи. Програми, спрямовані на успішну реінтеграцію ув'язнених у суспільство, потребують допомоги з боку релігійного персоналу. Вважається, що тюремний капелан має найбільші потенційні можливості для реабілітації ув’язнених, виявляв найбільший інтерес до в’язнів і мотивований релігійним духом або місією доброчинності. У статті проаналізовано характеристики, якими має володіти сучасний тюремний капелан: бути тактовним, відвертим, чесним і правдивим, обережним в обіцянках і їх виконанні, співчутливим, володіти знанням соціальних наук, і бути сильною та привабливою особистістю. Аналізуються обов'язки і завдання релігійної практики тюремного капелана, зокрема аналіз релігійної та соціальної історії ув'язнених, діагностика їх недоліків та планування їх майбутньої реабілітації. Зазначається, що при будь-яких змінах у виправних закладах і всьому суспільстві, у зв’язку з історичною та правовою основою релігії, вона залишиться активною частиною життя в'язниць та реабілітації ув’язнених.
