Abstract
Євроінтеграція України передбачає прагнення до повноправного членства в ЄС, прийняття нею європейський демократичних принципів та трансформацію країни у європейську правову державу. Такий процес неминуче поставить питання перед нашою країною, яке сьогодні жваво дискутують в науці та практиці реформ у світлі проблеми тлумачення принципів права ЄС. Стаття має на меті поглибити розуміння європейського правового дискурсу щодо таких принципів, висвітливши його виміри, засади та функції. Крім того, в ній аналізується використання терміну «принцип» у праві Європейського Союзу. В статті характеризуються основні принципи права ЄС через призму сучасних викликів. Визначено, що Не існує остаточного переліку загальних принципів права ЄС, але вони включають такі принципи, як: правова визначеність; рівне ставлення; пропорційність і повага до основних прав. European integration of Ukraine implies the aspiration for full membership in the EU, the adoption of European democratic principles and the transformation of the country into a European state based on the rule of law. Such a process will inevitably raise questions for our country, which are currently being vigorously debated in the science and practice of reforms in the light of the problem of interpreting the principles of EU law. The article aims to deepen the understanding of the European legal discourse on such principles by highlighting its dimensions, foundations and functions. In addition, it analyzes the use of the term "principle" in EU law. The article characterizes the basic principles of EU law through the prism of modern challenges. It is determined that there is no definitive list of general principles of EU law, but they include such principles as: legal certainty; equal treatment; proportionality and respect for fundamental rights.
