Abstract
У статті автори розглядають наявні варіативні моделі здійснення правового регулювання обігу криптовалют у країнах Латинської Америки та Карибського басейну. Визначено особливості та недоліки використання криптовалюти bitcoin у цьому регіоні. Авторами констатовано, що в латиноамериканських країнах спостерігається загальнопоширена тенденція використання цифрових грошей як звичайного засобу захисту заощаджень в умовах невизначеної фінансово-економічної політики та постійної нестабільності курсу національної валюти. Для країн цього регіону bitcoin є інструментом хеджування валютних ризиків, механізмом запобігання інфляції та нестабільній внутрішньополітичній ситуації. In the article the authors examines the existing vibrational implementation models of legal regulation of the cryptographic turnover in the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. The features and drawbacks of the use of bitcoin cryptography in this region are found. The author states that in the Latin American countries there is a common tendency of using digital money as a standard means of saving savings under uncertain financial and economic policies and constant instability of the national currency. For the countries of this region, bitcoin is an instrument for hedging currency risks, a mechanism for preventing inflation and an unstable internal political situation.
