Abstract
У тезах автором досліджено актуальні питання щодо проблем діяльності органу пробації в Україні. Визначено основні проблеми та механізм забезпечення діяльності органу пробації, оскільки наявна правова база не забезпечує повною мірою відповідні умови для ефективного виконання завдань цього органу. Акцентовано увагу на доцільності проведення корекційної роботи із особами, які відбувають покарання, щодо подальшої мінімізації факторів ризику вчинення ними повторних злочинів. In theses, the author researches topical issues related to the problems of the probation body in Ukraine. The main problems and the mechanism of ensuring the activity of the probation body are identified, since the existing legal framework does not fully provide the appropriate conditions for the effective performance of the tasks of this body. Attention is focused on the expediency of carrying out correctional work with persons serving a sentence in order to further minimize the risk factors of their committing repeated crimes.
