Abstract
Значення Української державності сьогодні вимагає осмислення та глибокого аналізу. В статті зроблено спробу загальнотеоретичного окреслення ознак, а також визначення правових основ державності. Проаналізовано історико-правовий досвід інших держав, визначено основні критерії державності та її значення для створення держави. Важливим елементом дослідження є також визначення значення державності для громадян. The meaning of Ukrainian statehood today requires understanding and deep analysis. The article offers a general theoretical highlighting of the features, as well as the definition of the legal foundations of statehood. The historical and legal experience of other states was analyzed, the main criteria of statehood and its importance for the creation of a state were determined. An important element of the research is also the determination of the meaning of statehood for citizens.
