Abstract
У статті проаналізовано порядок формування регулятивного капіталу страховика відповідно до нового Закону України «Про страхування». Визначені вимоги щодо наявності для певних фінансових установ регулятивного капіталу у державах ЄС, досліджено норми формування необхідного капіталу для страховиків у директивах Європейського Парламенту та Ради. Відзначено важливість наближення законодавства України до законодавства ЄС у сфері фінансових послуг відповідно до підрозділу 6 Угоди про асоціацію. The article analyzes the procedure for the formation of regulatory capital of an insurer in accordance with the new Law of Ukraine "On Insurance". The requirements for the availability of regulatory capital for certain financial institutions in the EU states are determined, the norms for the formation of the necessary capital for insurers in the directives of the European Parliament and the Council are studied. The importance of bringing Ukrainian legislation closer to EU legislation in the field of financial services in accordance with subsection 6 of the Association Agreement was noted.
