Abstract
У статті розглянуто економічну природу електронних грошей, як платіжного інструменту. Досліджено основні специфічні властивості, які в свою чергу, визначають відповідну форму грошей. Також здійснено огляд ринкової капіталізації найпопулярніших віртуальних валют у всьому світі. In article the economic nature of electronic money as payment tool is considered. The main specific properties, which in turn define the corresponding form of money are investigated. The review of market capitalization of the most popular virtual currencies around the world is carried also out.
