Abstract
У статті здійснено ретроспективний аналіз виконання покарань у вигляді позбавлення волі через призму історико-правових явищ. Доведено, що історично-правовий досвід дослідження виконання покарання у вигляді позбавлення волі на певний строк допомагає не тільки підвищенню ефективності виправлення і ресоціалізації засуджених, а і вдосконаленню норм кримінально-виконавчого законодавства України. In article the retrospective analysis of execution of imprisonment through a prism of the historical and legal phenomena is carried out. It is proved that historical and legal experience of a research of execution of the punishment in the form of imprisonment for a certain term helps not only to increase in efficiency of correction and resocialization of convicts, and and improvement of standards of the criminal and executive legislation of Ukraine.
