Abstract
У статті розглянуто розвиток законодавства у сфері соціального захисту населення радянської України протягом 1920-х – 1930-х років. Особлива увага приділяється розвитку інституту соціального захисту працездатного і непрацездатного населення (людей похилого віку, безробітних, осіб з втратою працездатності у зв’язку з каліцтвом тощо). Акцентовано увагу на необхідності дослідження історичного досвіду законодавства про соціальний захист населення з метою його подальшого використання та удосконалення сучасного законодавства в даній сфері. The article examines the development of legislation in the field of social protection of the population of Soviet Ukraine during the 1920s and 1930s. Special attention is paid to the development of the institute of social protection of the able-bodied and disabled population (elderly, unemployed, persons with loss of working capacity due to disability, etc.). Attention is focused on the need to research the historical experience of legislation on social protection of the population with the aim of its further use and improvement of modern legislation in this area.
