Під час дослідження застосовані методи логічного узагальнення інформації, наукових праць вчених, вивчення джерел інформації. Проведене дослідження підтвердило, що орієнтири стратегії розвитку підприємства, які скеровані на конкурентоспроможність, сприяють можливості виходу на нові ринки, створенню нових груп споживачів та розширенню існуючих груп, що надає змогу зростати доходу підприємств. Modern enterprises are forced to develop and implement strategies that ensure the fulfilment of new tasks based on innovation due to continuous changes in development. To gain a competitive advantage, which requires finding ways to enhance the competitiveness and adequately respond to external challenges, companies have to search for new strategic guidelines and determine their influence on competitive advantages. The topicality of this paper is in the need to study the formation of the competitiveness of enterprises, determine the features of their development, research strategic guidelines for enterprise development, and their influence on the formation of competitive advantages. The study applied the methods of logical generalization of information, comparison and formalization, analysis of research papers, the study of information, clarification of the studied information, systematization, forecasting, system and logistic approach of observation. The paper researches strategic guidelines for enterprise development and their influence on the formation of competitive advantages. The paper considers enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises through its ability to form and use the aggregated potential in the long-term prospect. This provides benefits to the enterprise and the implementation of its priority tasks, achievement of ultimate goals, and is determined by several methodological aspects, factors for improving competitive positions driven by changes, the implementation of which helps to increase the chances of winning competition in the market. The study has confirmed that guidelines of the company’s development strategy aimed at the competitiveness promote opportunities to enter new markets, create new consumer groups and expand the existing ones allowing the company to grow even without powerful additional technological or productive innovations. The paper proves that the implementation of innovation policy helps the company to gain its competitive advantages, improve its image and, consequently, stimulate consumer interest.Item СУЧАСНИЙ СТАН ТА ПЕРСПЕКТИВИ РОЗВИТКУ УКРАЇНСЬКОГО РИНКУ СОУСІВ. У статті проаналізовано сучасний стан ринку соусної продукції в Україні та визначено перспективи його розвитку. Проаналізовано конкурентне середовище пропонованго ринку. Досліджено динаміку виробництва та реалізації продукції, експорту та імпорту соусів. Охарактеризовано особливості попиту на заданому ринку. Визначено основні тенденції та перспективні шляхи розвитку ринку соусної продукції України. Sauces play an important role in the food industry, as they occupy a significant part in the diet of many Ukrainians. The purpose of the paper is to research current state and development prospective of state of the sauce market in Ukraine. The study has brought the following results. The study analyzes the current state of the sauce market in Ukraine and identifies prospects of its development. In particular, it was found that the market is saturated and characterized by fierce competition. Peculiarities of demand for sauce products in Ukraine are analyzed, in particular: frequency of purchases, seasonality, dependence on demand for other products. The commodity structure of the market of sauce products of Ukraine is analyzed. It is determined that in Ukraine, in contrast to Western countries, consumption amounts of complex sauces are inferior to mono sauces – mayonnaise and ketchup. The main development trends of the sauce products market in Ukraine are indicated: growth in demand for organic products, decrease in the share of fat and high-calorie products, growth in demand for new exotic sauces. The competitive environment of the market of sauce products of Ukraine is analyzed. It is determined that the main market share belongs to large producers who have a developed distribution network and offer consumers a wide range of products and low prices. The dynamics of production and sale of products, export and import of sauces is studied. It is determined that the share of imports in the domestic market is small, as domestic consumers prefer cheap domestic products. It is substantiated that Ukraine occupies an important place among exporters of sauce products and its export volumes are growing. Perspective ways of development of the sauce products market in Ukraine are defined. The sauce products market in Ukraine is characterized by saturation, high competition, seasonality and growing demand for organic, low-calorie and exotic products, that forces producers to diversify the product structure and expand sales in foreign markets.
