The action plan to fulfill the requirements of association includes bringing Ukrainian labor legislation of European standards. France is one of the most influential EU member States from economic and political points of view, as well as one of the biggest labor markets in Europe. That is why the issue of labor contract in France is very relevant from the point of view of approximation of labor legislation of Ukraine to the EU standards. We can say that the system of labor contacts in France in very flexible, it allows to different categories of employees (youth, students, elderly persons, representatives of artistic professions, disables persons) to realize in the fullest manner their right to work and related rights. In France there are several types of interesting labor contracts, introduction of which in Ukraine would give the possibility to fully realize their professional potential to a wider number of citizens taking into account individual features of different categories of employees. Система трудових договорів цих країн характеризується високим рівнем гнучкості та дозволяє враховувати індивідуальні особливості і потреби працівників, що сприяє працевлаштуванню більшого кола осіб. Необхідно запровадити трудові договори тимчасової зайнятості, трудові договори роботи з перервами, трудові договори поєднання роботи та професійного навчання в Україні та внести відповідні зміни до українського трудового законодавства. The article is dedicated to study of the system of labor contracts in such EU member-States as France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Italy. Labor contracts the above member-States of the European Union and in Ukraine have many common features, but there are certain differences. Study of labor contracts existing under legislation of the EU member-states is interesting from the point of view of a possible modernization of labor legislation of Ukraine, borrowing the best European and world practices in this area, in view of the necessity to adopt a new Labor Code it also has practical interest taking into account the fact that currently a considerable number of Ukrainian citizens reside and work in countries of the European Union.
