У статті розглянуто сучасні тенденції розвитку та стан галузі тваринництва в Україні, досліджено динаміку економічних показників, та запропоновано заходи стосовно підвищення економічної ефективності галузі на перспективу. Узагальнено основні підходи до вирішення проблем розвитку тваринництва. Визначено особливості та обсяги державної підтримки розвитку тваринництва. Обґрунтовано напрями вдосконалення механізму державної підтримки тваринницьких галузей. An undeniable fact is the importance of national food security and export potential of the country. The livestock sector, which provides consumers with valuable food products, plays an important role in this mission of the state. Therefore, the state of development of this branch of agriculture is relevant and belongs to the priorities of the state's agrarian policy. Livestock is considered as a strategically important branch in the general structure of agricultural production. State support for the development of the livestock sector will enable the population of the country to produce high-quality domestic produce. The article describes the main sub-sectors of animal husbandry in Ukraine, provides quantitative and qualitative indicators of their development, dynamics of changes in the field of animal husbandry, focusing on problematic issues.uk-UAArticle
