Підкреслюється гостра необхідність збереження якісного стану земель, а також запобігання крайньому ступеню деградації – опустелюванню земель, прояви якого торкнулися й України. The article is devoted to the problem of preserving the lands of Ukraine as the main national wealth. We are talking about qualitative and quantitative indicators of land conservation. In particular, on the preservation of the quality of land, as well as the area occupied by land of certain categories. Emphasis is placed on the negative phenomena characteristic of the current state of the country’s land fund. We are talking about the rapid spread of soil-destroying processes, large-scale land degradation.
