Акцентовано увагу на високому рівені стресогенності слідчої діяльності, актуальності розвитку конструктивності копінг-поведінки слідчих з метою підвищення ефективності їх професійної діяльності та збереження психічного і соматичного здоров’я. Удосконалено зміст понять «психологічно напружена ситуація професійної діяльності слідчого Національної поліції України» шляхом уточнення її основних характеристик, «копінг-поведінка слідчого Національної поліції України» шляхом визначення її пускових механізмів і цільового призначення, «конструктивна копінг-поведінка слідчого Національної поліції України» шляхом конкретизації змісту копінг-стратегій.This work is devoted to the analysis of existing concepts and approaches employed in Psychological Sciences to study the coping behavior in the sociological mechanisms of adaptation. The emphasis is given to the high level of stress in investigative activities, importance of constructive coping behaviour of investigators in order to increase the efficiency of their professional activities and the preservation of their mental and physical health.
