Автором доведено, що поняття процесуальних строків і їх розумність має давні історичні корені. Обґрунтовано, що процесуальні строки кримінального провадження більш конкретизовано були закріплені в Кримінально-процесуальному кодексі УРСР 1960 р., в якому було визначено порядок обчислення строків, момент початку та закінчення перебігу строків. The article analyzes historical preconditions for the emergence of procedural terms of criminal proceedings. The author proves the meaning of procedural terms and its reasonableness has ancient historical roots.
