Досліджено наукові праці правознавців у сфері сучасного державного управління, теорії держави і права; узагальнено деякі питання практики побудови сервісної держави. Результатом такого узагальнення стало з’ясування окремих умов ефективного формування сервісної держави в Україні та виявлення низки проблем, що виникають під час практичної реалізації цієї моделі сьогодні. Сформульовано власне визначення сервісної держави як форми організації суспільства, яка ґрунтується на засадах економічної доцільності та якості надання публічних послуг, що спрямовані на задоволення базових потреб людини та гарантування її прав і свобод. The article deals with the theoretical and practical aspects of the origin and development of the institution of service state in Ukraine and in the world. Academic papers of lawyers in the field of modern state administration, theories of state and law were investigated; some questions of the practice of building a service state were generalized. The result of this generalization was the clarification of certain conditions for the effective formation of the service state in Ukraine and the identification of the number of problems that arise during the practical implementation of this model today.
