У вітчизняній науці формуються сучасні погляди на інститут місцевого самоврядування. Муніципально-правовій проблематиці приділяється увага багатьох вчених, наукові надбання яких складають основу сучасної муніципально-правової доктрини держави. Зосереджено увагу на таких наукових працях вчених як дисертації, монографії, підручники, навчальні посібники, статті, доповіді та повідомлення тощо. Науковими джерелами дослідження добровільного об’єднання територіальних громад в системі місцевого самоврядування є дисертації кандидатів юридичних наук, докторів філософії (права, економіки, соціології) та докторів юридичних наук. В монографіях досліджується спроможність об’єднаних територіальних громадах забезпечити підвищений рівень надання населенню адміністративних послуг та свобода їх господарювання. В підручниках та посібниках зосереджено увагу на реалізації функцій територіальних громад і їх фінансовій спроможності. The article examines scientific sources on the voluntary association of territorial communities (OTG) in the system of local self-government. Modern views on the institution of local self-government are being formed in domestic science. Municipal legal issues are the focus of many scientists, whose scientific achievements form the basis of the state’s modern municipal legal doctrine. Attention is focused on such scientific works of scientists as dissertations, monographs, textbooks, training manuals, articles, reports and reports, etc. Dissertations of candidates of legal sciences, doctors of philosophy (law, economics, sociology) and doctors of legal sciences are scientific sources of research on the voluntary association of territorial communities in the system of local self-government. The monographs examine the ability of united territorial communities to ensure a higher level of provision of administrative services to the population and freedom of their management. Textbooks and manuals focus on the implementation of the functions of territorial communities and their financial capacity.
