Патріотичне виховання визначено як цілеспрямований психолого-педагогічний вплив, спрямований на розвиток особистісних якостей студентів, який має на меті формування здатності до особистої самореалізації та участі в суспільних процесах. Метоюдослідження є теоретичне обґрунтування сутності патріотизму, визначення особливостей патріотизму на сучасному етапі розвитку України, вивчення психолого-педагогічних умов формування вмолодогопокоління високої патріотичної свідомості, любові до Батьківщини, пошани до видатних українських історичних діячів, готовності до виконання громадянських і конституційних обов’язків. The article covers the conceptual apparatus of patriotic education in the analysis of the relation of concepts, namely: socialization, education, training, education. Patriotic education is defined as a purposeful pedagogical influence aimed at the development of students’personal qualities, aimed at forming universal values, social behaviors, personal self-realization and participation in social democratic processes.
