В статті було визначено поняття інтелектуального капіталу, також були проаналізовані основні методи оцінки інтелектуальних активів, виявлені їх переваги та недоліки в рамках застосування у вітчизняних вищих навчальних закладах. За результатами аналізу зроблені відповідні висновки, а також рекомендації стосовно вирішення проблеми підвищення ефективності оцінки інтелектуальних активів в рамках діючої системи вищої освіти в Україні.
