Abstract
Шлюб як багатофункціональний інститут суспільства має значну інституційну автономію, обумовлену внутрішньою послідовністю свого розвитку разом із плинністю часу, який історично змінив організацію суспільства і ментальність народу. Релігійні уявлення, соціальні правила, моральні норми і принципи, стосунки людей змінилися, тож наразі підпорядковуються сучасності, що у сукупності значним чином впливає і на систему шлюбно-сімейних відносин, її форму, принципи, умови укладання та існування шлюбу загалом. Динамічність і неоднозначність сучасних процесів у шлюбно-сімейних відносинах, зокрема трансформація інституту шлюбу, зумовлює необхідність звернути увагу на зміни і наслідки того, що відбувається у шлюбі та сім’ї у ХХІ столітті. Marriage as a multifunctional institution of society has a significant institutional autonomy, which is due to the internal sequence of its development, along with the passage of time, which has historically changed the organization of society, the mentality of the people. Religious ideas, social rules, moral norms and principles and attitudes of people have changed, so now they are subject to modernity, which together significantly affects the system of marital and family relations, its form, principles, conditions of marriage and the existence of marriage in general. The dynamism and ambiguity of modern processes in marital and family relations, in particular the transformation of the institution of marriage, necessitates attention to the changes and consequences of what is happening in marriage and the family in the XXI century.
