Abstract
Досліджено концепцію права людини на життя в сучасному міжнародному праві в контексті досягнень науково-технічного прогресу в галузі біології та медицини. Запропоновано розробити уніфіковану комплексну наукову дефініцію поняття «людина» в сучасному міжнародному праві з позиції біоетики для уникнення юридичних розбіжностей і казусів у зв’язку зі специфікою національного правового регулювання. Обґрунтовано необхідність закріплення цього поняття на універсальному міжнародному рівні окремим документом або як доповнення до чинних.The development and detailing of human rights, including the concept of the right to life, traces in contemporary international law.Since the proclamation of the UN Charter (1945) many international documents have been adopted on the universal and regional levels, aimed at the expanding the content of this right. The world is faced with problems that have emerged in a number of bioethical issues with the acceleration of scientific and technological progress in biology and medicine, which began in the second half of the XX century, as well as the integration of many branches of science (natural, technical and humanitarian). These issues require immediate regulation, with the help of law including, as well as the analysis of their compliance with generally accepted moral norms and values.
