Abstract
Статтю присвячено дослідженню правової природи громадського контролю за діяльністю правоохоронних органів в Україні, вивченню контрольних повноважень за діяльністю правоохоронних органів. Досліджено особливості співпраці правоохоронних органів та громадськості. Визначено основні напрями організації громадського контролю над діяльністю правоохоронних органів. Авторами з’ясовано, що громадський контроль над правоохоронними органами визначає процес розвитку форм та методів цієї діяльності, а також тактичні прийоми й способи попередження та припинення правопорушень, за необхідності притягнення винних до відповідальності. Викладене свідчить про важливість подальшого формування правового механізму, здатного забезпечити оперативний вплив громадськості на діяльність правоохоронних органів. The article is devoted to the study of the legal nature of public control over the activities of law enforcement agencies in Ukraine. The work is devoted to the study of control powers over the activities of law enforcement agencies. The peculiarities of cooperation between law enforcement agencies and the public are explored. The main directions of organization of public control over the activity of law enforcement agencies are identified. The authors found that public control of law enforcement agencies determines the process of development of forms and methods of this activity, as well as tactical methods and methods of prevention and termination of offenses, if necessary to bring the perpetrators to justice. The above points to the importance of further developing a legal mechanism capable of ensuring the operational impact of the public on the activities of law enforcement agencies.
