Abstract
У статті проаналізовано питання щодо дослідження особливостей регіональних стандартів визначення біженців їх відмежування від інших категорій вимушених мігрантів з метою подальшої систематизації міжнародного досвіду у цій сфері, а також урахування під час вдосконалення законодавства та державної політики України щодо надання міжнародного захисту та притулку. Встановлено, що постійна міграція населення та поява нових видів мігрантів вимагає як на міжнародному рівні, так і на рівні національного законодавства країн проводити розмежування біженців від суміжних категорій осіб (економічні мігранти, переміщені особи), а також від інших осіб, які потребують міжнародного захисту. The article analyses the peculiarities of regional standards for refugees definition and distinguishing them from other categories of forced migrants in order to further systematize international experience in this area, as well as to be taken into account in improving legislation and public policy in Ukraine on international protection and asylum. It is established that the constant migration of the population and the emergence of new types of migrants requires both at the international level and at the level of national legislation to differentiate refugees from related categories of persons, such as economic migrants, displaced persons and others in need of international protection.
