    Розвиток української політичної і правової думки, як правило визначався наявністю національної держави, а тому основні правові концепції, що мали місце в попередні історичні епохи, в будь-якому випадку спрямовувалися на обґрунтування найбільш оптимального способу відновлення суверенітету та вибору форми організації держави. Одним із ключових періодів у розвитку українських політико-правових учень стало ХІХ – початок ХХ ст. The development of Ukrainian political and legal thought, as a rule, was determined by the existence of a national state, and therefore the main legal concepts that took place in previous historical eras were, in any case, aimed at justifying the most optimal way of restoring sovereignty and choosing the form of state organization. One of the key periods in the development of Ukrainian political and legal scholars was the 19th – early 20th centuries.
