    В даній статті звертається увага на деякі аспекти захисту культурних цінностей під час збройних конфліктів. В даний час відбувається активна боротьба між державами та народами за світові ресурси, а також за цивілізаційні цінності, до яких належать об'єкти культурної спадщини. Нині почастішали випадки знищення пам'яток, які є загальносвітовим надбанням людства, насамперед у ході збройних конфліктів. Незважаючи на пильний інтерес провідних держав світу до питання збереження та захисту культурних цінностей та широку правову регламентацію даного питання, акти розграбування та повного руйнування культурних цінностей досі мають місце. This article addresses certain aspects of safeguarding cultural heritage during armed conflicts. Currently, there is an active struggle between states and peoples for global resources, as well as for civilizational values, which include objects of cultural heritage. Instances of destruction of monuments, considered as the common heritage of humanity, have become more frequent, especially during armed conflicts. Despite the vigilant interest of leading world powers in the preservation and protection of cultural heritage and the extensive legal regulation of this matter, acts of looting and complete destruction of cultural assets still occur.
