    Автор, ґрунтуючись на положеннях загальної теорії права, характеризує та систематизує нормативно-правові акти щодо захисту прав дитини Національною поліцією України з використанням нормативно-правових документів вітчизняного та міжнародного законодавства, ратифікованого Верховною Радою України. Автор розглядає вісім рівнів джерел різної юридичної сили та детально висвітлює кожен рівень з описанням конкретного прикладу. Також висвітлені деякі спірні питання та прогалини в законодавстві України щодо захисту прав дитини Національною поліцією. Relying on the provisions of the general theory of law, the author characterizes and arranges statutory instruments on children’s rights protection by the National Police of Ukraine using statutes and regulations of the domestic and international legislation ratified by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The scientist considers eight levels of the sources having different degree of legal effect and thoroughly covers every level through describing a specific case. Some controversial issues and gaps in the legislation of Ukraine related to children’s rights protection by the National Police of Ukraine are outlined as well.
