Відповідно до традицій, які склалися у суспільстві, метою укладення шлюбу та створення сім’ї є народження та виховання дітей. Водночас кожне п’яте подружжя має проблеми з репродуктивною функцією. У більшості випадків саме сурогатне материнство є останнім шансом відчути радість батьківства для безплідних подружніх пар. The family is a socio-cultural institute, an effective tool for socializing the individual and humanizing the society. According to the tradition in society, the purpose of marriage and family formation is the birth and upbringing of children. However, every fifth couple has problems with reproductive function. In the vast majority of cases, surrogate motherhood is the last chance to experience the joy of fatherhood for infertile couples.
