    У статті охарактеризовано маргінальність як стан кризи, пережитий індивідом під впливом навколишнього оточення, що виражається в такій зміні способу життя (алкоголізм, наркоманія, бродяжництво, жебрацтво), цілей і спрямованості особи (маргінальність доцільніше розглядати, по-перше, як один із видів деформації правосвідомості з огляду на правову кризу особи, по-друге, як окраїнне становище певних категорій громадян, пов’язане з тим, що їхнє правове становище не врегульоване у законодавстві належним чином), яка приводить до десоціалізації й конфлікту із суспільством. The article describes marginality as a state of crisis experienced by an individual under the influence of the environment, which is expressed in such a change in lifestyle (alcoholism, drug addiction, vagrancy, begging), goals and orientations of the person (marginality should be considered, firstly, as one of the types of deformation of legal consciousness, given the legal crisis of the individual, and secondly, as the marginal position of certain categories of citizens due to the fact that their legal status is not properly regulated by law), which leads to its desocialization and conflict with society.
