Abstract
Розглядаються історичні аспекти протидії торгівлі людьми у минулому столітті та передумови криміналізації цього злочину в Україні, що призвело до утворення та поступового становлення правових засад роботи правоохоронних та інших державних органів із цим злом. We examine the historical aspects of countering human trafficking in the last century and the prerequisites for criminalization of this crime in Ukraine. This led to gradual establishment of the legal basis for the work of law enforcement and other state bodies against this evil.
