Abstract
Стаття присвячена особливостям тривалої історичної еволюції політичного змісту основних засад кримінального права США. Встановлено, що прин- ципи американського кримінального права виступають сполучною ланкою між характером та рівнем злочинності у суспільстві та сукупністю правових норм, що становлять кримінальне законодавство Америки. The article is devoted to the features of the long-term historical evolution of the political content of the basic principles of US criminal law. It is established that the principles of American criminal law act as a link between the nature and level of crime in society and the system of legal norms that constitute US criminal law.
